Welcome to our Colorado Springs & Worldwide Ex-Mormon Online Meetup Group.

Why an online group?
We believe in a safe place you can visit anywhere, anytime and add your comments and suggestions right from your own home! If you're tired of Church callings and other religious requirements being laid upon you, in your desire to be a "worthy" Saint, join our meetup group to share your thoughts and experiences with other Mormons and ex-Mormons. Learn "the Truth" about "the Restored Gospel" in confidence, without the fear of revealing who you are or the fear of being rejected for who you are.

Although our group is primarily an Internet one, from time to time, in addition to our monthly internet discussion topics, we will host physical events where you can come and meet people face-to-face if you wish to do so. So, feel free to join our group and receive updates on all our activities. It's free!

Is this meetup group a religion?
Many who are in the process of leaving the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or are thinking of leaving may not want to think about religion. In fact, many who leave have totally rejected religion. Our group does not endorse any religious church, although many of our members are involved in various Christian groups and discussions of religious faith are welcome in this group, we do not officially endorse any specific church or denomination. We feel it is up to each individual to decide whether to believe or not to believe. But if you are looking for a Biblical understanding, here is a website that may be of help: www.4mormon.org. From time to time, we may discuss articles that are posted on this this website, but again, the topics that we discuss are determined by our members. So, you decide what you want to talk about. We do not censor topics, unless they of an unwholesome nature.

We believe that true freedom is to be gained where people are free to discuss spiritual beliefs without the fear of being rejected for who they are. While some of the people in our meetup group do have spiritual beliefs and some attend churches, others do not. Our meetup group is an open-minded place where anyone can share their thoughts without the fear of being rejected for who they are. In our group, you are free to believe or not to believe. Our meetup group is what you as a member define it to be. And it is about being "open minded" to whatever "truth" really is.
